يُسلِّط يوم السياحة العالمي 2025 الضوء على الإمكانات التحويلية للسياحة كعامل للتغيير الإيجابي. ولكنَّ تحقيق هذه الإمكانات لا يقتصر على تعزيز النموّ. فهو يتطلّب الحوكمة الجيّدة، والتخطيط الاستراتيجي، والرصد الفعّال، وتحديد الأولويات بوضوح بما يتماشى مع أهداف الاستدامة على المدى البعيد.

International tourism recovers pre-pandemic levels in 2024

After recovering pre-pandemic levels in 2024, international tourist arrivals grew 5% in the first quarter of 2025 (compared to 2024), or 3% above 2019 levels. Over 300 million tourists travelled internationally between January and March 2025, about 14 million more than in the same months of 2024.
